ALICE in Cinderland:
when weather changed the world

Alice in Cinderland is sci fi fantasy when weather ushers in a brave new world with heat waves, fires, and pandemic. We face potential for economic catastrophe, spiraling inflation, a range of humanitarian crises, a global energy crisis, a food crisis, and the prospect of World War III, all amidst an endemic pandemic that could give rise to new forms of psychosis. Will we forget that we have a climate crisis?

ALICE is black satire about our surreal denials of climate change, from fires to power outages, from surveillance to mind control. Alice has set her table for a luxury dinner party. Before her guests arrive, lightning ignites wildfires in ghost forests, causing a power shutoff to millions of homes.

We plummet down a rabbit hole to Cinderland where we’re bombarded with media assaults, from deep fakes to lobbyists. Horsemen of the Apocalypse zoom in on motorcycles. Alice in Wonderland meets The Matrix, full of zombies who won’t wake up.

George Orwell warned us to watch out for a police state. Instead, zombies are getting lost in a metaverse where they can be monitored 24/7.
